After successfully installing RenderGod, there are a few important setup steps to complete before you begin rendering. This guide will walk you through the initial configuration process.
First Launch
When you launch RenderGod for the first time, you'll see the main application interface with an empty render queue.
Initial Setup Checklist
Before adding your first render job, consider completing these setup tasks:

Configure Blender Version - Set which version of Blender RenderGod should use

Set Default Export Paths - Configure where your renders will be saved

Adjust Theme Settings - Choose your preferred light or dark theme

Review Default Settings - Customize default render presets if needed
Desktop Shortcut
If you checked "Create desktop shortcut" during installation, you'll find a RenderGod icon on your desktop. This provides quick access to the application.
Creating a Shortcut Later
If you didn't create a shortcut during installation, you can create one manually:

Navigate to the RenderGod installation folder (typically C:\Program Files\RenderGod)

Find RenderGod.exe

Right-click on the executable

Select "Create shortcut"

Drag the shortcut to your desktop
Start Menu Access
RenderGod is also accessible from the Windows Start menu:

Click the Start button

Type "RenderGod" in the search bar

Click on the RenderGod application icon
System Tray Integration
RenderGod can run in the system tray for background operation:

The application minimizes to the system tray when you close the main window

Right-click the system tray icon to access quick options

You can restore the main window or exit the application from the tray menu
Initial Configuration
Setting Up Blender Version
Before you can render Blender files, you need to configure which version of Blender RenderGod should use:

Click the Settings button (gear icon) in the top-right corner

Navigate to the "Blender Version" tab

Select your preferred Blender version from the list

If your Blender version isn't listed, use "Auto Scan" or "Select Manually"
Important: The Blender version you select will be used for all render operations. Make sure you have this version installed on your system.
Configuring Export Paths
Set up where your rendered files will be saved:

Go to Settings > Default Settings

Configure the default export folder for Blender renders

Set default paths for video and image sequence outputs
Customizing Your Workspace
Theme Selection
Choose your preferred appearance:

Go to Settings > Theme Settings

Select from:

System mode - Follows your Windows theme

Light mode - Bright interface
-
Dark mode - Dark interface (recommended for long rendering sessions)

Badge Display
Control which information badges appear in the render queue:

Go to Settings > Badge Display

Toggle visibility of badges for different job types

Badges help identify job types at a glance (Blender Render, Video to Image Sequence, etc.)
Ready to Render
Once you've completed the initial setup, you're ready to start using RenderGod:

Import your first Blender file - Drag and drop or use the import button

Configure render settings - Adjust resolution, format, and output path if needed

Add to queue - Your job will appear in the render queue

Start rendering - Click the start button to begin processing
