Terms of Service

Effective date: October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Zoock Studio, the business that operates RenderGod ("we", "us"). They apply to the RenderGod desktop app, the website rendergod.app, the web dashboard at app.rendergod.app, the iPhone app and the RenderGod add-on for Blender (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RenderGod manages and runs Blender render jobs on your own computers: it queues .blend files, runs Blender with the settings you choose, shows progress and previews, recovers from crashes, converts image sequences to video, and lets you watch and control renders from a browser, phone or Telegram.

The Windows app is generally available. The macOS app, the iPhone app and the web dashboard are in beta: they may change, have bugs or be withdrawn. Blender is not part of RenderGod. It is a separate program, made by the Blender Foundation, that you install yourself under its own licence.

2. Your account

• You need an account, created by signing in with Google, to use RenderGod, including the Free plan.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or older if your country requires it to manage your own Google account.
• To buy a paid plan you must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must make the purchase and accept these terms for you.
• An account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in with others.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything done through your RenderGod account, including through browsers or phones you approve and Telegram chats you link. Tell us at once at team@rendergod.app if you suspect misuse.

3. Plans, computers and internet connection

• RenderGod has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The features of each plan are described on our pricing page. Free includes one computer and Pro includes two. To use another computer, disconnect one from your account.
• Team or studio arrangements are available only by separate written agreement with us.
• An internet connection is needed to sign in and to start each job. If your connection drops, the job that is rendering finishes, but the queue stops before the next job. Hands-Free recovery after a restart also needs a connection. While running, the app checks your plan every few minutes, and a check is valid for at most 24 hours.
• When we publish a new version, older versions stop starting new renders until you install it. You can always stop renders, export your queue and update.
• We may add, change or remove features. We will not significantly reduce the paid features you have already paid for during your current billing period.

4. Free trials

• Your first Pro subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a payment method at checkout and are not charged during the trial. The checkout shows the date of the first charge and the amount.
• Each account gets one free trial. If your account has had a Pro subscription before, including one that was cancelled or refunded, a new subscription starts without a trial and you are charged at checkout.
• When the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged unless you cancel before then from the billing page in your account. We email you a reminder about a day before the trial ends.
• If you cancel during the trial, Pro stays active until the trial ends and you are not charged.

5. Payments and renewal

• Paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. It processes your payment, issues your invoice and collects sales tax or VAT. Its Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Where they conflict with these terms on your consumer rights, the terms more favourable to you apply.
• Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, at the price and for the discount period shown at checkout, until you cancel. Your billing page shows the next renewal date and amount.
• If we change the price, we email you between 7 and 30 days before the first renewal at the new price. The new price applies from that renewal, and you can cancel before it.
• If a payment fails, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. After that your account returns to the Free plan until the payment is made.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription at any time, in any of these ways:

• Online: open your profile and choose Cancel in the billing section, or use the Cancel subscription link at the bottom of our website's main pages.
• By email: write to team@rendergod.app with your full name and your account email.

Online cancellations are processed immediately. A cancellation sent by email is processed within 3 business days. Cancelling stops all future charges. If a renewal is charged after you sent us your cancellation, we refund that charge in full. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan. Until then you can resume the subscription.

7. Refunds

• 14-day money-back guarantee. You can get a full refund of your first payment for a paid plan if you ask within 14 days of it. Email team@rendergod.app with the subject "Refund". We send the refund within 14 days of your request, to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
• Apart from that, renewals and partly used billing periods are not refunded, except where the law requires it or where we end your subscription without you being at fault (section 13).
• Consumers in many countries, including the EU and the UK, may have a legal right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. Our guarantee gives you at least that right, and within those 14 days we do not deduct a cancellation fee or charge for the time you used. If the law where you live gives you a longer period or a better refund, you get that instead.
• When a payment is refunded, the Pro features it paid for end.
• Lemon Squeezy processes refunds and may also grant a refund under its own Buyer Terms.

8. Your licence to use RenderGod

While you have an account and keep to these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use RenderGod on computers you own or control, within the limits of your plan, for personal or commercial rendering work. RenderGod remains our property. You may not:

• Get around plan limits, licence checks or device checks, for example by tampering with the app, its saved data or your computer's clock.
• Share, sell, rent or lend your account or the app, or use it to provide RenderGod itself as a service to others.
• Copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except as far as the law allows despite this restriction.
• Use remote control or the Telegram bot to control a computer you are not authorised to control.
• Overload, probe or attack our servers or interfaces, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

RenderGod includes open-source software, such as FFmpeg, that is licensed to you under its own licence, including the GNU General Public License. Nothing in these terms limits the rights those licences give you.

9. How RenderGod affects your files and computer

Please read this section. It describes how the software behaves, so you can decide how to use it.

9.1 It runs code

• RenderGod starts Blender with scripts inside .blend files allowed to run. That happens when a job renders or bakes, and when you add a file to the queue so RenderGod can read its scenes. A .blend file from an untrusted source can therefore run harmful code on your computer.
• Python scripts (hooks) that you add to jobs run inside Blender with no restrictions.
• If you turn on Hands-Free PC recovery on Windows, renders that RenderGod resumes on its own (after a crash or restart, or if the app is closed or you sign out while rendering) run under the Windows SYSTEM account, which has full administrator rights. So do the .blend scripts and hooks in those jobs.
• Only render files and use scripts you trust. You are responsible for the files and code you run.

9.2 It can change and overwrite files

• Auto Bake Physics, which is on by default, saves your .blend file after baking simulations into it.
• The add-on's Send to RenderGod button saves the open file. While the add-on is installed, every save also marks your World settings to be kept in the file. The add-on loads its code from the RenderGod installation each time Blender starts, so RenderGod updates also update it.
• Rendering always replaces existing frames and videos that have the same file names in the output folder.
• Preview folders that RenderGod creates inside your output folders are deleted when you remove or reset a job.
• By default RenderGod renders with your Blender add-ons turned off, uses the GPU and turns on persistent data. Scenes that rely on an add-on may render differently. Other overrides, such as quality or view-layer options, can also make the result differ from rendering the .blend file on its own. Check your output.
• Keep backups of your projects and finished renders. We are not responsible for lost or overwritten files (section 15).

9.3 It changes some system settings

• The Windows installer runs with administrator rights and installs for all users of the computer. Running the installer closes RenderGod, which stops any render in progress. The in-app updater waits until rendering has stopped.
• To make remote previews work, the installer adds a Windows Firewall rule that allows incoming UDP connections to Microsoft WebView2 on all network types, including public Wi-Fi. Other apps that use WebView2 benefit from the same rule. After WebView2 updates, the app may ask for administrator permission to add the rule again. The app may also ask your router to open a port for up to two hours. Uninstalling removes the firewall rule.
• Hands-Free PC recovery (Pro) adds a background task that runs as SYSTEM when Windows starts, moves RenderGod's data to a shared folder on the computer, and turns on start-at-login. It can resume your queue before anyone signs in. It does not change your Windows password or sign-in settings. We may show you guidance on changing your computer's BIOS power settings; doing so is at your own risk.
• While rendering, RenderGod keeps the computer from going to sleep, runs Blender at raised priority, and by default uses the GPU. Rendering puts a heavy, sustained load on your hardware. RenderGod shows temperatures but does not throttle or stop renders when hardware runs hot. Cooling, power supply and hardware health are your responsibility.
• If you choose, RenderGod shuts down or sleeps the computer when the queue finishes, after a countdown you can cancel.

9.4 Remote control

• Remote Control is on by default and can be turned off in Settings. Before a new browser or phone can send commands or see previews, someone at the computer must allow it, once or always. Any device signed in to your account can see your queue summary without that approval.
• From an approved browser or phone, or from a Telegram chat linked to your bot, someone can start and stop renders, change the queue and settings, and shut down or sleep the computer after a 30-second countdown.
• Anyone who gets access to your account or linked chat can do the same. Keep them secure, and turn Remote Control off if you do not need it.

9.5 Estimates

Remaining-time estimates, progress and hardware readings are estimates and may be wrong.

10. Your content

Your .blend files, assets and renders belong to you. You allow us to store and transmit only the information about them described in our Privacy Policy, and only to run the Service for you. You confirm that you have the rights to the content you render. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely.

11. Other companies' services

The Service relies on services we do not control, including Google Sign-In, Lemon Squeezy, Telegram, Apple and Blender. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for how they work or for their availability. If you set up a Telegram bot, it is yours, under Telegram's bot platform terms.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change or stop parts of it. If we stop offering the paid plan altogether, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

13. Suspension and ending the agreement

• You can stop using RenderGod at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account from your profile (see the Privacy Policy).
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or unlawful activity, or puts other users or our systems at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
• If we close your account without you being at fault, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
• When a paid plan ends, your account returns to the Free plan. It does not end your account.

14. No warranty

RenderGod is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including that the Service will meet your needs, be uninterrupted or secure, or produce a particular render result. If you are a consumer, this does not affect the rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded.

15. Limits on our liability

• We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
• We are not responsible for loss you could have avoided by following section 9, for example by keeping backups or rendering only files you trust.
• If you use RenderGod for a business, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, missed deadlines or business interruption, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.
• If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits your legal rights, including a remedy if RenderGod is faulty or damages your device or other content because we did not use reasonable care and skill.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

16. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us at team@rendergod.app first, and we will try to resolve it with you. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. You can bring a claim in your local courts, and we can bring a claim against you only there.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of significant changes by email or in the app. If you do not agree to a change, you can cancel before it takes effect, and we refund the unused part of any prepaid period. If you keep using the Service after it takes effect, the new terms apply.

18. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us. Your purchase is also covered by the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms, which are between you and Lemon Squeezy. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not given it up. You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it to a buyer of the business, who will be bound by it.
